LG has finally confirmed the launch of its latest flagship smartphone, the LG V30 in India. LG is planning to launch a beefed-up variant with moniker LG V30+ in the Indian market on December 13, which is just a week away from now. The price of the smartphone is unknown at the moment, but if LG managed to launch it under Rs 50,000, it would give a run for other smartphones- the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and Google Pixel 2 XL.
The V30+ comes with slightly better specifications compared to the V30. At the front of the phone, the smartphone has a 6-inch QHD+ OLED display. By hearing this, you might be wondering about the display issues on the Pixel 2 XL because the screen on the Pixel 2 XL is manufactured by LG itself. So far, there are no reports on the screen issues of the V30 though.
The V30+ is powered by the top-of-the-line Snapdragon 835 chipset, coupled with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The storage can also be expanded with a microSD card up to 2TB. Adreno 540 GPU takes care of graphics in the V30+.
One of the primary highlights of the V30+ is the dual rear camera setup. It is the industry’s first smartphone to boast of a f/1.6 camera. A primary 16MP camera with f/1.6 aperture is present at the back, along with a secondary 13MP wide-angle sensor with 120-degree field-of-view. Up front, we get a 5MP wide-angle shooter.
The device runs Android Nougat out of the box, but LG might release the device in India with Android Oreo. The phone is backed by a 3300mAh battery. It also has a 32-bit Hi-Fi audio DAC especially for the audiophiles out there.
